Today, we have a special guest. My daughter, Catherine, age 8, who’s going to be helping me review some apps, particularly, the ones she has loaded on her iTouch (or has taken off, because she doesn’t like them). Today’s review, the iQuarium App, the cyber version of the Pet Rock!
Heeeeeereeee’s Catherine!
This review is about the app called the iQuarium. It has a small virtual pet goldfish that you can take care of.
You can add things to the fish bowl to make it happy.
For example, you can put plants and rocks in the fishbowl for the fish to hide in.
The way you react to your fish affects its personality in every way. I found that out because when I accidentally disturb it, it starts inching toward a rock or plant. And now when I tap the screen, the fish hides behind a rock or plant.
I like the app a lot because I think the fish is very cute, sweet and silly.
I give it five out of five fishes!

Thanks for the comments, y’all! We were out and about All Freaking Day, so I read C the comments as they came in on my email, and she was most impressed and said to say that the fish are relaxing, and your granddaughter needs an iTouch, and the cats didn’t mind the fish in iQuarium, but that they searched the whole house trying to find the meowing cat in the Kitten app!
Great review, Catherine! It sounds even better than a real fish. Do you have any cats you could introduce to this app to see how they react to it (and vice-versa)?
My GD who is 10 would probably like this as well, but I’d never get my phone back. Thanks for the review Catherine, well done.
Haha! Thus the reason for the iTouch Christmas present!
Very cool app! I need an iPhone or an iTouch, and then I’m headed straight for iQuarium. Your fish is so cute! Plus, watching fish is good for your health. It lowers blood pressure and helps stressed-out adults to relax. Thank you for the review, Catherine.
